Our Mission

Our Mission

Penobscot Bay Ministries will provide a Christian aftercare program transitioning individuals suffering from chemical abuse, other harmful behaviors, or incarceration to a productive relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose

  • To help young adults know the value of Jesus Christ in their lives
  • To gain the basic skills of life without drug dependency
  • To learn how to respect, honor, and cherish others
  • To participate in career counseling
  • To grow and preserve some of their own food and produce
  • To take an active role in household chores, such as cooking and laundry
  • To learn a new trade, or work in the manufacturing program provided by Penobscot Bay Ministries
  • To participate in daily Bible studies
  • To support each other and participate in group sessions
  • To learn to help others
  • To take part in community education
  • To learn about substance abuse and its affect on individuals in the community

There will be ongoing evaluations for each resident and the program
